Elaine C. Hoppa, age 90, of Berlin, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2017, at the Juliette Manor Nursing Home in Berlin. She was born on July 25, 1926, in Berlin, WI, a daughter of Nathan and Suzanne (Okon) Polakowski. She married Clifford Hoppa on April 27, 1946. In her younger years, Elaine had worked as a nurse's aide at Berlin Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, crocheting, knitting, needlepoint, and playing cards.
Elaine is survived by 2 children, Judith Reinert of Berlin, Michael Hoppa of Oshkosh; 6 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister, Nancy Laper; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan and Suzanne Polakowski; her husband, Clifford Hoppa; son, Stephen Hoppa; 3 brothers; 3 sisters.
