Geraldine Lois (Lueck) Reyes, age 81, of Princeton, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, on Tuesday, March 6, 2018. She was born on November 15, 1936, in Princeton, a daughter of Reinhold and Erma (Cook) Lueck. Gerri married Michael Reyes on November 15, 1954. She had worked for Sunnyview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Princeton for over 20 years. Gerri most recently gave her time and talent to helping at Grandma Sandy's Learning Den in Princeton, were she had very special little friends. She had a heart of gold and would help anyone. Gerri loved visiting with her family and friends. She also enjoyed shopping, camping, doing word search puzzles, spending time with the children at the day care, and crocheting blankets for her grandchildren.
Gerri is survived by her children, Karen Riel (Reyes) of Beaver Dam, Sandra (Joe) Miller of Princeton, Ricky (Gale) Reyes of Princeton; grandchildren, Michelle Harrington of Oshkosh, Melinda Sanchez of Oshkosh, Davis M. (Michelle) Reyes Jr. of Oshkosh, Andrew Reyes of Oshkosh; Tracy Riel of Beaver Dam, Amanda (Tim) Garcia of Beaver Dam, Kelly Riel of Milwaukee; Jennifer Kikkert of Portage, Stephanie Kikkert of Waupun, Matthew (Stephanie) Miller of Princeton; Collette Hylstek of Princeton, Joey (Gina) Reyes of California, Ashley Reyes of Beaver Dam, Samantha Reyes of Ripon, Zac Reyes of Princeton; 26 great grandchildren; sister, Betty (Harry) Gallenbeck of Beaver Dam; brother, Lloyd Lueck of Fond du Lac; special friend, Alana Sowieja; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reinhold and Erma Lueck; husband, Michael Reyes; son, Davis M. Reyes Sr.; granddaughter, Melissa "Missy" Reyes; grandson, Nathaniel Kikkert; 3 brothers; 2 sisters.
A funeral service for Geraldine Lois Reyes will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m., at St. John's Lutheran Church, 226 S. Clinton St., in Princeton. Pastor John Stelter will officiate. Following the service, Geraldine will be laid to rest in Memory Hill Cemetery in Princeton.
