Laurie Filipinski

Laurie Filipinski, age 71, of Neshkoro, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 7, 2017, at her home.   She was born in Red Lake Falls, MN on May 19, 1946, a daughter of Lawrence and Noella (Lasha) Audette.   She attended the University of Minnesota from 1966 to 1969.  On October 23, 1971, Laurie was united in marriage to Larry Filipinski in Red Lake Falls, MN.   Laurie had worked for many years in Neshkoro as a secretary for Ronald Seaver and Associates.  The last number of years, she worked at Money Mailer for Mark and Sharon Spero out of St. Charles, IL .  She enjoyed traveling, gambling, cooking, and visiting with family and friends. 

Laurie is survived by her husband of 45 years, Larry Filipinski of Neshkoro; 4 sisters, LouAnn Rode of Coos Bay, Oregon, Judy (Hugh) Morrison of Selkirk Manitoba, Canada, Terry (Gary) Weiss of Red Lake Falls, MN, Mary Jo Audette of Coos Bay, Oregon; brother-in-law, Jack Filipinski of Neshkoro; many other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Noella Audette; brother, Leroy Audette.

A Funeral Mass for Laurie Filipinski will be held on Monday, August 14, 2017, at 10:30 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1211 W.
