Lyle Teske, age 90, of Princeton, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at the Fountain View Care Center in Ripon.  He will now be with his beloved wife of 69 years, Irene, who he missed so much!  Lyle was born on June 21, 1926, in Oxford, WI, to Gustave and Mattie (Wagner) Teske.  He graduated from Westfield High School and married Irene Chatfield on April 4, 1945, in Westfield.  Lyle worked on the family farm until moving to Princeton in 1950.  He then worked for Speed Queen in Ripon for 42 years, retiring in 1988.   He loved cars and had 28 new cars during his lifetime.   Lyle was very mechanical and considered to be a jack of all trades, fixing anything that was given to him.   He loved his family and always believed in working hard for what you had.   Lyle and Irene were always together whether just walking, traveling or meeting with friends at the casino.  Lyle was a member of the United Methodist Church in Princeton.

Lyle is survived by his son, Gary (Arlene) Teske of Pardeeville; 2 daughters, Sandy (Harold) Gassen of Redgranite, Debbie (Bill) Murkley of Ripon; 7 grandchildren, Jill (Chris) Wilson, Kevin Murkley, Lance Teske, Josh (Val) Gassen, Tyler (Heidi) Murkley, Jenny (Joe) Dudek, Ericka Teske; 8 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Pat Buchholz; other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Gustave and Mattie Teske; beloved wife, Irene Teske in 2015; brother, Gordon Teske.  Lyle wished to be cremated and there will be no services.  A private burial for Lyle and Irene Teske will take place at the Princeton City Cemetery at a later date.

The family wishes to thank the Princeton Ambulance Service and Berlin Hospital staff for their care, the   Fountain View Care Center, especially Sarah, Stephanie, Sondra and Generations Hospice, who brought our sadness to closure.  We would also like to thank Kimberly for being there for our family during this time.  Thank you to Wachholz and Sons Funeral Home for arrangements.  We will miss you dad but we know you are happy to be with mom again, may you rest in peace.  Please visit our website www.wachholzandsons.com to send condolences to the family.
