Mitchell Kallas

Mitchell "Mitch" Kallas, age 29, of Ripon, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, July 6, 2017.   He was born on April 6, 1988, in Ripon, a son of Mark and Shelly (Luzenski) Kallas.   On October 14, 2016, Mitch married Amber Casperson at Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon.  He was employed as a cylinder welder for Alliance Laundry Systems.  Mitch loved drawing and playing with his daughter, Maci.  He liked Halloween, enjoyed riding his bike, snowmobiling, watching football, playing video games, cooking and baking. 

Mitchell is survived by his wife, Amber Kallas of Ripon; daughter, Maci Kallas of Ripon; soon to be baby daughter, McKaylee Kallas; parents, Mark and Shelly Kallas of Princeton; 2 sisters, Mollie Kallas of Madison, Marie Kallas of Princeton; grandmother, Elaine Kallas of Princeton; mother-in-law, Roxanne Casperson of Ripon; sister-in-law, Ashley Casperson of California; great grandparents -in-law, Robert (Elaine) Casperson of Stiles, WI; Godparents, Kelly Sosinsky of Neshkoro and Craig Luzenski of Waterloo; special friends, Ruben Contreras of Ripon and Brenda Lanaghan of Ripon.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, L. Roger Kallas; maternal grandparents, John and Edry Luzenski; father-in-law, Brian L. Casperson. 

A celebration of life for Mitchell Kallas will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1211 W.
