Patricia Ann Ewert

Patricia Ewert, age 84, of Montello, departed this earthly life to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 30, 2017.  She was born on February 15, 1933, in Winona, MN, a daughter of Fred and Hilda  (Weber) Praxel. On January 19, 1952, she married Earl Ewert at St. Lucas Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. During her working years, Pat was employed at PPG Industries in Oak Creek, WI, as an administrative assistant. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Montello, Marquette Co. Senior Citizens, Inc., a former member of the Altar Guild of the church, and was a volunteer with the kindergarten classes at Montello Public Schools. Pat was noted for her award winning crocheting and knitting. She was an avid reader and an excellent cook and baker. Pat also enjoyed nature and gardening. 

Pat is survived by her husband of 65 years, Earl Ewert of Montello; 2 daughters, Cheryl Connor of Oak Creek, Lori (Curt) Collenburg of Milwaukee; 2 grandchildren, Tricia Collenburg of Milwaukee, Nicholaus Collenburg of Milwaukee; brother, Fred (Bobbie) Praxel of South Milwaukee; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Hilda Praxel; brother, Bob and his wife, Barbara Praxel; 3 sisters, Lois and her husband, Boone Hiser, Shirley and her husband, Joe Quinlan, Dorothy Sherman.

A visitation for Patricia Ewert will be held on Monday, April 3, 2017, from 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., at the Wachholz and Sons Funeral Home, 303 Harvard St., in Princeton. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., with an hour visitation prior to the service at Emmanuel Lutheran Church (Big Mecan), W1568 Evergreen Ave., Montello. Pastor Peter Zietlow will officiate. Pat will be laid to rest following the service in Emmanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery. Memorials may be designated to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church Education Fund or to Marquette County Senior Citizens, Inc.  Please visit our website www.wachhozandsons.com to send condolences to the family.
