Earl--Barbara and I were sad to see Pat's obituary in this week's Tribune. We know it must have been a struggle for you both in Pat's last months and while there's nothing we can say that will in any way help soothe the pain of the loss of your spouse of 65 years, we also know that you have a very large group of friends and well wishers standing by to offer help and comfort in every way possible. We're in that group.

Earl,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. We will always remember how much Pat enjoyed her flowers and seeing the deer and birds in the yard. She had a beautiful smile and caring nature. We know you will miss her, but take comfort in knowing that she is an angel in heaven now.
