Dolores C. Bukowski

Dolores C. Bukowski, age 89, of Princeton, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2017, at Martha's Inc. in Princeton.  She was born on September 26, 1928, in Oshkosh, WI, the daughter of Clemens J. and Clara L. (Bednarek) Mashock.  Dolores married Calvin Lewis on July 9, 1947, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Princeton.  They were married 25 years before his passing in 1972.  On April 8, 1978, she married Ralph Bukowski at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Princeton.  They were also blessed with 25 years of marriage before his passing on July 12, 2003.  Dolores worked for many years at the American Baptist Assembly in Green Lake in the hospitality field, helping guests with housing registration and reservations.  She was a wonderful caregiver to her family.  Dolores loved babysitting her grandchildren and singing in the church choir.  In her younger years, she also enjoyed canning. 

Dolores is survived by her children, David (Georgia) Lewis of Milwaukee, WI, Michael (Judy) Lewis of Oregon, WI, Steven Lewis of Van Dyne, WI; 7 grandchildren, Robert Lewis, Kristin (Patrick) Braun; Sarah Lewis; Brittany, Gregory, Wyatt, and Sedona Lewis; 2 great grandchildren, Abigail and Lucas Braun; special friends, Mary Bauer, Margie Sixt, Gordon Montey; many other friends and relatives.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Clemens and Clara Mashock; stepfather, Alex Soda; her husbands, Calvin Lewis and Ralph Bukowski.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Dolores C. Bukowski will be held on Friday, November 17, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1211 W. Main St., in Princeton.  Father Donald Bauer will officiate.  Dolores will be laid to rest following the Mass in St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Princeton.  If you prefer, in lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to St. John the Baptist Catholic School, 125 Church St. Princeton, WI 54968.  Please visit our website at www.wachholzandsons.com to send a condolence or to share a memory of Dolores with her family.
