Dorothy Novak, age 95, of Princeton, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at ThedaCare Medical Center in Neenah. She was born in Union City, New Jersey on August 6, 1921, the daughter of Harry and Elizabeth (Gartner) Clark. Dorothy married Harry Novak on August 17, 1946, in Union City, New Jersey. During her working years, she was employed as a secretary for the Handcraft Company in Princeton. Dorothy loved to read, and when she was able enjoyed sewing and embroidering. She also enjoyed cooking, playing cards, and dancing. Dorothy was a long time member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Princeton and its Rosary Society. For many years, she volunteered at St. John's Catholic Church Picnic, helping out in the fancy booth and also in the kitchen.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Edward Novak of Madison, WI, Suzanne (John) Hobson of Bolingbrook, IL; 3 grandchildren, Daniel Hobson of Bolingbrook, IL, Joshua (fiancée, Denen Oliver) Hobson of Park City, UT, Noah Hobson of Bolingbrook, IL; special friends, John Coda, Jim (Barb) Radtke; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Elizabeth Clark; husband, Harry Novak in 1984; brother, Harry Clark.
