Douglas Lashock

Douglas (Doug) Lashock, age 61, of Princeton, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, June 11, 2017.  He was born on January 25, 1956, in Ripon, WI,  the son of Urban and Bernadine (Kaping) Lashock.   Doug worked for many years as a correctional officer at the Fox Lake Correctional Institution.  He enjoyed spending his free time, golfing, hunting, fishing, and playing pool.    

Doug is survived by his mother, Bernadine Lashock of Princeton; 3 sisters, Pam (Ken) Kaub of Montello, Brenda (Jon) Isberner of Princeton, Colleen (Steve) Carrow of Greenville; nieces and nephews, Chad (Katie Bohren) Lashock, Stevie (Tasha) Carrow, Tana Carrow, Jake ( Jennie) Carrow, Kendra Isberner; great niece and nephew, Brody and Addison Carrow;  special friends, Randy Sondalle, Chuck and Robyn, Kelly and Al, Dick and Donna; his dog, Buddy; many other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, Urban Lashock; and his grandparents.   

A visitation for Douglas Lashock will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the Wachholz and Sons Funeral Home, 303 Harvard St., in Princeton.  A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2017, at 10:30 a.m., with a one hour visitation prior to the service, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1211 W. Main St., in Princeton.  Father Philip Krogman will officiate.  Doug will be laid to rest following the service in St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Princeton.  Please visit our website www.wachholzandsons.com to send a condolence or to share a story or memory of Doug with his family.
