Grace Reiter-Rudolph

Grace Reiter-Rudolph, age 55, of Princeton, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 13, 2017, at her home.  She was born on December 3, 1961, in Chicago, IL, a daughter of Ethel (Harmston) Reiter and the late Arthur Reiter.  Grace graduated from Blair High School in 1978.  In 1979, she received her Commercial Drivers License to be a long haul truck driver.  Grace worked for Peterson Trucking and at the height of her professional career, Grace owned and operated Rudolph's Express with a fleet of several semi trucks delivering coast to coast.

Grace's passions included horseback riding, music, spending time with and spoiling her many nieces, nephews and godchildren.  She loved cooking and baking delicious meals, entertaining her many friends and family, and being on the open road with her cats by her side.  Her strong faith, generosity, fun spirit, humor and loving heart will always be remembered by her family and friends.

Grace is survived by her mother, Ethel Marie (Harmston) Reiter; 5 sisters, Kathleen Reiter, Cindy Reiter, Lisa (Tim) Lamers, Lorna Star, Kristina (Brent) McCarn;  5 nieces, Brittany Lamers, Alyssa Star, Jordan Finnell, Kaitlyn McCarn, Angelina Star and also is a goddaughter;  4 nephews,  Alex Star, Brennan Lamers,  Dylan Finnell, Tyler Finnell and also is a godson; many other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Reiter; grandparents, William and Henrietta Calverly; Arthur A. and Margaret (Goebl) Reiter; godson, Ben Wiench-Warner.   The Lord has wrapped His loving arms around Grace and she is at peace in His name.

A celebration of life for Grace Reiter-Rudolph will take place on Sunday, May 21, 2017, from 1:00-3:30 p.m., at St. John's Lutheran Church cafeteria, 227 Harvard St. in Princeton.   Please note, the cafeteria is directly across the street from St. John's Lutheran Church.  Please visit our website www.wachholzandsons.com to send condolences to the family.  A memorial has been established.
