Marie Kollatz

Marie Kollatz, age 83, of Montello, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2017, at Juliette Manor in Berlin, WI.  She was born on August 31, 1933, a daughter of Anselm and Theresa (Pallen) Piotrowski.  Marie married Thomas Kollatz on May 24, 1952, in Milwaukee.  For 23 years, Marie and Tom owned and operated the Puckaway Shores Campgrounds on Lake Puckaway.  Marie enjoyed cooking, putting jigsaw puzzles together, doing crossword puzzles and sitting around the fire in her yard with family and friends.  She loved to read and had loved traveling to Sanibel Island in Florida for winter escapes with her late husband, Tom.  

Marie is survived by her daughter, Lynn (Ken) Priebe of Schaumburg, IL; 3 sons, David Kollatz of Gardener, IL, Scott Kollatz of Montello, Jeff Kollatz of Montello; 8 grandchildren, Kimberly Priebe, Tom (Amy) Priebe, Theresa (Brian Moschel) Priebe, Evan (Lacy) Kollatz, Erica Kollatz, Christopher Kollatz, Whitnee Kollatz, Avery Kollatz; 6 great grandchildren, Louis Priebe, Juniper Priebe, Mila Moschel, Wyatt Kollatz, Boyd Kollatz, Mason Kollatz; many other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Anselm and Theresa Piotrowski; brother, Norman Piotrowski.

A memorial service for Marie Kollatz will be held on Monday, August 21, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., at the Wachholz and Sons Funeral Home, 303 Harvard St., in Princeton.  Father Dale Grubba will officiate.  The family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
