Raymond Michael Mielke

Raymond Michael Mielke, age 67, of Milwaukee and Marquette, WI, passed away Friday Morning, January 19, 2018, at ThedaCare Medical Center in Berlin.  He was born on December 13, 1950, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Raymond F. and Elizabeth (Wolosz) Mielke.   Ray grew up in Wauwatosa, WI.  He met his wife, Rose Fischer, of Sussex, at the age of 16 at Dog 'n' Suds.  They were married in Lannon WI, on June 30, 1973.  Ray worked in food service for Walgreens Restaurants and then for the Milwaukee Public Schools until his retirement in 2006.  Ray was an avid sportsman and every weekend in the fall, you could find him sitting in his duck blind. 

Ray is survived by his wife, Rose Mielke of Marquette, WI; 3 children, Ray (Kristen) Mielke of Knowles, WI, Roberta (Toby) Ollmann of Portland, TX, Rebecca Mielke of Milwaukee, WI; 7 grandchildren, Hanna and Mitchell Mielke; Cameron, Jaycee, Everett, Teryn, and Atley Ollmann; many other family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Elizabeth (Betty) Mielke.
