Thomas Murphy

Thomas Murphy, age 76, of Montello, passed away at home on Tuesday, August 8, 2017.  He was born on May 5, 1941, in Milwaukee, a son of Thomas and Helen (Lange) Murphy.  Tom had worked for Lurvey Farms out of Whitewater, WI, as a  truck driver, hauling sod.  He enjoyed spending his time visiting with friends and riding motorcycle. 

Thomas is survived by his wife, Rosemary Murphy, of Montello; 2 sons, Reid Murphy of Muskego, WI, Mike Murphy of Milwaukee, WI; daughter, Tammy Murphy of Milwaukee, WI; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; 2 stepsons, Martin Wardesky of Black River Falls, WI, Michael Wardesky of Lannon, WI; sister, Diane Walzack of Stone Bank, WI; special friends, Gary and Jude Vlasek, John and Bonnie Edwards, Dennis and Doloris Gubin, Mike and Cathy Vales; many other relatives and good friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Helen Murphy.

A Celebration of Life for Thomas Murphy will be held at Mike & Cathy's Good Old Days, W995 W North Shore Dr., Montello, on Saturday, August 12, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Budda Box Against Cancer, PO Box 91 Westfield, WI 53946.  Please visit our website www.wachholzandsons.com to send a condolence or to share a story or memory of Tom with his family.
