Wayne Robert Kreger

Wayne Robert Kreger, age 69, of Green Lake, passed away at his home on Wednesday, October 4, 2017.  He was born on May 5, 1948, in Madison, WI, a son of Walter and Shirley (Gilbertson) Kreger.  Wayne grew up in Sun Prairie, WI.   In 1990, he married Marguerite Formiller Keefe of Green Lake.   Wayne had worked  20 years as a store manager for Schultz Savo Stores, Piggly Wiggly in Mayville, WI.  He then worked as an insurance and investment counselor in Waukesha, WI, for 10 years and as a project manager for Modern Pole Builders in Ripon for 10 years.    

Wayne is survived by his wife, Marguerite S. Kreger of Green Lake; 3 stepchildren, Kelly (Bret) Graff of Sheboygan, WI, Patrick Keefe of Sheboygan,  Susan Keefe of Wauwatosa, WI; 5 step-grandchildren, Kasi Graff, Andy Graff, Jacob Keefe, Madelyn Keefe of Sheboygan, Estella Gabor of Wauwatosa; sister, Audrey (Tom) Zimmerman of Sauk City, WI, many other relatives and friends. His stepchildren and grandchildren will miss all the great times with "Grandpa Wayne."  He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Shirley Kreger; 2 sisters, and his brother.
