Adrian Lashock, lifelong resident of Princeton, age 87, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, July 24, 2020. He was born on December 15, 1932 in Princeton, WI, a son of Nicholas and Theresa (Soda) Lashock. On June 30, 1962, he married Geraldine Schroeder at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Princeton. Adrian retired from Speed Queen in Ripon where he worked for 37 years. He was a very hard worker, he loved to help out the area farmers or lend a hand to anyone that needed it.
Adrian was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, the Catholic Order of Foresters as a Chief Ranger, The Holy Name Society, and was a member of the American Legion Post #366, all of Princeton. He also served in the United States Army. Abie had many hobbies. He enjoyed the outdoors and his passion was going to “the shack” and cutting wood. Abie loved gardening, deer hunting and playing cards. He also enjoyed bowling and was a Green Bay Packer and Milwaukee Brewer fan. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Abie made people happy, was quick to laugh and known as a jokester.
Those Adrian leaves behind to cherish his memory include his devoted wife of 58 years, Geraldine Lashock of Princeton; 5 children, Jeff Lashock of Green Bay, Julie (Steve) Sondalle of Berlin, Randy (Lida) Lashock of Princeton, LuAnn (Bruce) Livingston of Adams, Kevin Lashock of Princeton; 12 grandchildren, Nathan and Nick Lashock; Megan, Ryan and Cody Sondalle; Hannah and Lucas Lashock, Krystal (Brent) VanLaanen, Whitney (Brad) Otto; Kyle, Brooke and Aidan Livingston; 5 great grandchildren, Isaac, Felix, Rhylea, Marlowe and Willa; sister, Inez Coda of Waupun; brother, Dennis (Elaine) Lashock of Raleigh, NC; sister-in-law, Bernadine Lashock of Princeton; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Theresa Lashock; 2 sisters, Alice and Valeria; 5 brothers, Ervin, Leonard, Marvin, Eugene, and Urban.
A visitation for Adrian Lashock will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1211 W. Main St., in Princeton on Tuesday, July 28, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 29, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Father Dale Grubba will officiate. Adrian will be laid to rest following the service in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Princeton.
