Andrew K. Black, age 60, of Princeton, WI, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024, at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh, WI, with his family by his side. He was born on November 23, 1963, in Highland Park, IL, the son of Eugene and Elizabeth “Kay” (Lauher) Black.
On May 14, 2005, Andy married Debbie Sondalle in Green Lake, WI. He was a journeyman plumber in Illinois, for over 30 years and owned his own business. Andy was beloved by his customers as he was a caring person who was always willing to help anyone in need.
He enjoyed going to casinos, ice fishing, motorcycle rides and traveling on vacations looking for new adventures with Debbie. His last adventure was at the area of Yellowstone National Park which was on his bucket list of places to see. Andy was a Chicago Bear and Chicago Blackhawk hockey fan. He had a great sense of humor and loved teasing everyone.
Those Andy leaves behind to cherish his memory include his parents, Eugene and Kay Black; his wife of 18 years, Debbie Black; 3 sons, Kenneth Black, Tony (Melissa) Black, Brian (Lacey) Black; 4 stepchildren, Jamie (Shelley) Borst, Christie (Mitch) Geer, Lindsay (fiancé, Kirt) Borst, Skye (Will) Kuen; 13 grandchildren, 2 great granddaughters; 2 sisters, Irene (Charlie) Quimby, Liz (Adam) Kaiser; 4 brothers-in-law, 1 sister-in-law; many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Andrew K. Black will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1211 West Main St., in Princeton. Father Dale Grubba will officiate. Burial will follow the Mass at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Princeton.
