Anita Zuberbier, age 85, of Princeton, passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021, at Juliette Manor in Berlin, WI. She was born on August 15, 1936, in Fond du Lac, WI, a daughter of Carl and Lillian (Zarbock) Toll.
Anita attended Winnebago Lutheran Academy of Fond du Lac, graduating in 1954. On September 21, 1957, she was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” Zuberbier at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac.
Anita enjoyed vacationing in Florida, playing cards, doing puzzles, gardening, fishing and when she was younger, enjoyed bowling. She loved watching all the birds on their multiple bird feeders and talking about her great grandchildren.
Those Anita leaves behind to cherish her memory include her husband of 63 years, Robert “Bob” Zuberbier of Princeton; 3 children, Lynn Zuberbier - Uecker of Neenah, Wanda (David Sr.) Raasch of Princeton, Alan (Amy) Zuberbier of Fremont; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer (Mike) Oliver, Adam (Elise) Uecker, Amanda (Brian) Prickett, Jeremy (Ginny) Uecker; Sarah (Ryan) Galligan, David “DJ” (fianceé, Claire Kinas) Raasch; Aric (Gina) Zuberbier, Abby (Eric) Bieniewski, Alex Zuberbier, Anna Zuberbier; 15 great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kendra, Emma and Mason Oliver; Molly, Natalie and Nolan Uecker; Olivia, Easton and Uriah Prickett; Cory and Isaac Uecker; Ariella and baby on the way, Emery Galligan; Asher Houle; 2 sisters-in-law, Serena Toll, Nancy (Jerry) Behm; brother-in-law, Lee (Carol) Zuberbier; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Lillian Toll; brother, Frederick “Fritz” Toll; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Hugo Zuberbier and Anita Zuberbier – Dorschner; brother-in-law, Hilbert (Valgene) Zuberbier.
A funeral service for Anita Zuberbier will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m., at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 226 S. Clinton St., in Princeton. Pastor John Stelter will officiate. Anita will be laid to rest following the service in the Memory Hill Cemetery in Princeton.
