Ashtoreth M. Keipe, PhD

Ashtoreth M. Keipe, PhD, age 89, of Green Lake, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2019, at Martha’s Inc. in Princeton.  She was born on December 22, 1929, a daughter of Alfred F. and Marcia J. (Hanley) Keipe.  Ashtoreth attended college at UW Madison where she earned her PhD.  She was a teacher at Central Middle School in Hartford, WI, were she taught for the majority of her teaching career. 

Ashtoreth is survived by her sister, Marie I. (Michael) Gates of Princeton; 5 nieces, Kathleen Ebert of Appleton, Maureen (Jeff) Lechnir of Oshkosh, Debra (Steve) Benfiel of Florissant, CO, Michelle (Derek Roehl) Gates of Princeton, Danielle (Larry) Hoover of Harrisburg, PA; 3 great nephews, Nicholas Benfiel, Lincoln Roehl, Arthor Hoover; great niece, Madisyn Gates- Roehl; many other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Marcia (Hanley) Keipe; sister, Patricia A. Ebert; brother-in-law, Gerald Ebert. 

A graveside service for Ashtoreth M. Keipe will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2019, at the Dartford Cemetery, 499 King Street, in Green Lake, WI.  Father Robert Fictum will officiate.
