Audrey J. Naparalla, age 85, of Ripon, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Prairie Place in Ripon. She was born on February 12, 1940, in Hustisford, WI, a daughter of Edwin and Bernadina (Smith) Nehls.
On July 2, 1966, Audrey married Roman Naparalla at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Princeton. They were married 34 years at the time of Roman’s passing on March 25, 2001. Audrey received her Certified Nursing Assistant Certification through Moraine Park Technical College. For over 20 years, she was employed as a CNA at Sunnyview Village Nursing Home in Princeton.
Audrey was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church of Ripon. Her many hobbies included tending to her flowers, dancing, attending her grandchildren’s athletic and musical events, spending time with family at the lake and cheering on the Packers with her Prairie Place pals.
Those Audrey leaves behind to cherish her memory include her 4 children, Allen of Palm Springs, CA, Michael (Paul) of Neenah, WI, Carrie of Neenah, WI, Michelle of Columbia, TN; 3 grandchildren, Keyosha, Alaysha, Kaden; 6 great grandchildren, Tristan, Sara, Will, Kairo, Lola, and George; sister, Bertha Mae Dobbratz of Waukesha, WI; her grand dogs, Lexi, Shelby Jane, Koda, and Harlow; many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Bernadina Nehls; 2 brothers, Edwin Nehls, Donald (Mary) Nehls; 2 sisters, Florence (William) Wickert, Anita (James) Prokop.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Audrey J. Naparalla will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1211 W. Main St., in Princeton. Msgr. James Gunn will officiate. Audrey will be laid to rest following the service in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Princeton.
