Barbara Ann Mashuda, age 81, of Neshkoro, passed away at her home surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, May 18, 2022. She was born on August 30, 1940, in Ripon, WI, a daughter of Arthur and Leona (Prachel) Luedtke.
After graduating from high school, Barbara attended the Deaconess School of Nursing in Milwaukee, graduating with a registered nursing degree in 1961. On June 16, 1962, she married Norman Mashuda in Butler, Pennsylvania. Barbara worked for the Bel Air Nursing Home in Milwaukee for 20 years, and after a time became the director of nursing at the facility. After moving to Neshkoro, she worked as a nurse at Juliette Manor in Berlin for a number of years.
Barbara enjoying nature, gardening, cooking, listening to music, sewing and being a Green Bay Packer Fan. She loved being with her family.
Those Barbara leaves behind to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 59 years, Norman Mashuda of Neshkoro; 3 children, Todd (Kimberly) Mashuda of Neshkoro, Jeffrey (Diane) Mashuda of Sherwood, WI, Lisa (Joseph) Teich of Port Washington, WI; 2 grandchildren, Alex and Isabelle Teich; sister, Elaine Lashock of Raleigh, NC; special friends, Ellen Jankowski, Ann Good, Betsy Lehner, Lola Knaack, Gerry Block; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Leona Luedtke; sister, Charlotte Cerney; brother, Richard Luedtke.
In honoring Barbara’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside service at the Black Creek Cemetery in the Township of St. Marie will be held at a later date. Please visit our website www.wachholzandsons.com to send a condolence or to share a memory of Barbara with her family.
