Bernard “Buddy” John Schultz, age 87, of Green Lake, passed away at his home on Monday, July 15, 2019. He was born on the family farm in the township of Brooklyn on October 20, 1931, the son of Bernard John and Leona (Torgesen) Schultz. Buddy proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. On August 27, 1955, he married Dolores Krause in Ripon. Buddy worked at Green Giant in Ripon for 26 years. He enjoyed tinkering, hunting and farming.

Bernard is survived by his 7 children, Karen (Tom) Powers of Ripon, Mark (Marianne) Schultz of Green Lake, David (Cathy Jean) Schultz of Green Lake, Nancy (Robert) Dumke of Shawano, James (Gloria) Schultz of District of Columbia, Cathy Jo Schultz of Green Lake, Brian (Dawn) Schultz of Kansas; 19 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard Sr. and Leona Schultz; his wife, Dolores Schultz on January 5, 2008.

Bernard wished to be cremated with no services.
