Bob Katerzynske, age 64, of Princeton, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, July 30, 2021. He was born on May 27, 1957, in Ripon, WI, a son of Bernard and Frances (Walker) Katerzynske.
Bob attended and graduated from Princeton Public Schools and in June of 1977, married Shelley Baumann in Princeton, WI.
Bob enjoyed gardening, always looking to try something new each season. He had also become an avid bird watcher the last few years. He loved watching the Packers, Brewers and his favorite TV show, COPS. He was also extremely talented at texting his daughters all day long when they were at work, something that now will be very missed.
In 1997, Bob took over and began running the Pizza Factory in downtown Princeton. The restaurant was his pride and joy, he loved it more than anything. He lived and breathed pizza and he couldn’t have done it without all the great employees he had throughout the past 24 years in business. He was so proud to be a grandpa to his grandsons, Crosby and Hudson. They were his world.
Those Bob leaves behind to cherish his memory include his 3 daughters, Brittaney (TJ Reetz) Katerzynske of Princeton, WI, Desireé (fiancé, Spencer Heise) Katerzynske of Appleton, WI, Samantha Katerzynske of Milwaukee, WI; 2 grandsons, Crosby and Hudson Reetz of Princeton, WI; brother, Larry (Carrie) Katerzynske of New London, WI; his former mother-in-law, Lou Baumann of Princeton, WI; numerous nieces, nephews, many friends and acquaintances he had met through the years at the restaurant; his dog, Lacey. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Frances Katerzynske.
