Carol (Feldkamp) Van Rossum, age 84, of Princeton, passed away at her home on Friday, July 23, 2021, with loved ones by her side. She was born on June 6, 1937, in Kaukauna, WI, the daughter of Bernard and Vera (Kerkhoff) Feldkamp.
Carol attended St. Mary’s Grade School and graduated from Kaukauna High School. On September 6, 1956, she married Jim Van Rossum of Freedom, WI, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Kaukauna. They shared 39 years of marriage before Jim’s passing on July 6, 1996.
Carol had many hobbies, she loved reading, watching old movies and traveling. Her travels took her to all 50 states and Washington D.C. She also vacationed in Germany, Austria, Holland, France, Italy and Mexico. Attending sports and music events of her children and grandchildren as well as babysitting, kept her very busy. Carol enjoyed working at P.G.I. in Green Lake for over 25 years. She was a loving mother and will be dearly missed.
Those Carol leaves behind to cherish her memory include her 10 children, Vicki (Lee) Ninneman, Val Glover, Jeff (Carla) Van Rossum, Lynn Krenz, Doug (Kim) Van Rossum, Will (Cheryl) Van Rossum, Leigh (Rich) Hebbe, Terry (Marie) Van Rossum, Randy (Amy) Van Rossum, Bernie (Erica) Van Rossum; 19 grandchildren, Ben Glover, Mark (Amber) Glover; Caitlyn (Garret) Gueths, Greg (Brittany) Krenz; Ivan, Olivia, and Guenther Hebbe; Elliot Van Rossum; Emily, Jacob, Elizabeth and Josh Van Rossum; Cora and Baron Van Rossum; Abby, Paige and Spencer Van Rossum; Brady and Maddie Van Rossum; 9 great grandchildren, Bella Glover, Holly Fryman; Carmen, Mariah and Tess Glover; Scotlyn and Lenora Krenz; Marek and Paxten Gueths; 2 sisters, Pat (Bob) Schaefer, Mary Ann (Ted) Vahovius; brother, Cletus (Marianne) Feldkamp; 3 brothers-in-law, Don Van Rossum, Ron (Barb) Van Rossum, Gene (Sue) Van Rossum; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Vera Feldkamp; sister, Elaine; brother, Roger (Rose) Feldkamp; son-in-law, Scott Krenz; nephew, Todd Feldkamp; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Adrian and Ella Van Rossum; sisters-in-law, Laverne (Mike) Arnoldussen, Rosie (Wayne) Grode, Bernice (Roger) Dercks, Mary Van Rossum.
A visitation for Carol Van Rossum will be held on Monday, July 26, 2021, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 7:30 p.m., at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1211 W. Main St., in Princeton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 27, at 10:30 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the church. Father Dale Grubba will officiate. Carol will be laid to rest following the service in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Princeton.
