Catherine Ann Schueler

It is with profound sadness to announce that Catherine Ann (Marshall) Schueler, age 59, a loving mother and grandmother, of Fond du Lac, WI, passed away unexpectedly, at St. Agnes Hospital on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. She was born on August 28, 1961, in Waupun, WI, a daughter of Alfonso “Sam” and Francis (Tetzlaff) Marshall.

Catherine was a 1979 graduate of Waupun High School. She worked for Oshkosh Truck for many years as a machine maintenance technician. Catherine had a love for gardening, canning and cooking. She also enjoyed sewing, piecing together puzzles and watching anything Disney in her free time. Tinkerbell was her absolute favorite Disney character. Catherine was always known to her friends as Kat.

Catherine was the beloved mother of Sonya-Lynn (Nick) Brain of West Allis, WI, and Jennifer Schueler-Koch of Oshkosh, WI.  She was a very proud grandmother of Jerzie, Natalie, and Hudson. She was a loving sister to Carol (John) Rostyne of Rosendale, WI, and was a fun-loving aunt to 2 nieces and 1 nephew. Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, Alfonso “Sam” and Francis Marshall.

 A small private family service will be held for Catherine.

Catherine’s family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at St. Agnes Hospital and the GranCare Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fond du Lac for the compassion and care both facilities have provided in this unforeseen time. 

You will forever be in our hearts, Mom!! Enjoy those Tinkerbell wings and fly high!! Don’t forget to sprinkle a little pixie dust on us once in a while!! We love you with all our hearts and souls!! Sending all our love to heaven…Until we meet again…
