Cheryl "Rosie" McClelland

Cheryl “Rosie” McClelland, age 66, of Algoma, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Eden Meadows in Algoma. She was born on April 26, 1960, the daughter of Milton F. and Esther E. (Iverson) Nehrbass.

Rosie was a certified nursing assistant at various locations for over 20 years. She enjoyed shopping, making jewelry, going fishing, and when she was able, enjoyed traveling. Cheryl treasured time spent with her family.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her daughter, Marsha Kroll; 2 grandchildren, Romeo Saverda, Sebastian Smith; 3 brothers, Don Jones, Doug Jones, Tim Erickson; sister, Kathy Larson; other relatives and friends. Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Esther Nehrbass; former husband, Wayne McClelland; brother, Dennis Jones.

A Celebration of Life for Cheryl “Rosie” McClelland will take place on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m., at the Wachholz and Sons Funeral Home, 303 Harvard St., in Princeton.
