Daniel Krause Obituary

Daniel A. Krause, age 68, of Ripon, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at UW Hospital in Madison several days after an automobile accident. He was born on April 22, 1952, the oldest son of Arden and Laverne (Oelke) Krause.

 

 

 

Dan grew up on the family farm near Spring Lake and graduated from Wautoma High School in 1970. After living in Madison for many years, he recently returned to central Wisconsin. He liked cars, dogs, horse racing and enjoyed trips to the casino.

 

 

 

Those Dan leaves behind to cherish his memory include his mother, Laverne Drover; brother, David (Bonnie) Krause; and sister, Deborah (Craig Bowden) Krause. He was a caring and generous uncle to several nephews and nieces. He is also survived by his long-time friend, Conya Bailey. Dan was preceded in death by his father, Arden Krause; his sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Richard Julien.

 

 

 

A private family service will be held for Daniel Krause at Zion Lutheran Church in Neshkoro. Pastor John Bumgardner will officiate.
