Danny Edward Breivogel

Danny E. Breivogel, age 85, of Green Lake, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at his home.  He was born on August 4, 1933, in Ripon, WI, a son of Edward and Sophie (Priske) Breivogel.  Danny was united in marriage to Mary Jane Mattioli in Kenosha, WI.  He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.  After returning from his time in the service, Danny, together with his wife, Mary Jane, ran the former Spike's Bar in Green Lake for a number of years.  He later worked for Speed Queen in Ripon for 13 years.  Danny enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and playing cards. 

Danny is survived by his significant other of 36 years, Cheri Rose of Green Lake; son, Troy Breivogel of Green Lake; daughter, Lisa (Craig) Jachens of Maryland; 2 grandchildren, Brian Jachens, Mary Jane (Matt) Penn; great grandchild, Oliver Penn; many other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Sophie Breivogel; wife, Mary Jane Breivogel in 1981. 

There will be no services at this time.  Danny E. Breivogel will be laid to rest in the Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake at a later date.  Please visit our website www.wachholzandsons to send a condolence or to share a memory of Danny with his family.
