David M. Bennett

David M. Bennett, age 81, of Oxford, WI, passed away at his home on Thursday, February 27, 2020.  He was born on September 10, 1938, in Beloit, WI, the son of William O. and Lucretia (Calland) Bennett.  On May 14, 1966, he married Bonnie K. Shuckhart in Janesville, WI.  During his working years, he was employed as a maintenance/electrician.

David had many hobbies, he enjoyed reading, fishing, hunting and woodworking. He loved camping and being in the outdoors when he was able.  David was a very faith filled man.  He served as a board member for the Buffalo Community Bible Church. 

Those David leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife of 53 years, Bonnie K. Bennett of Oxford, WI; 3 children, Tina (Brian) Elliott of Packwaukee, WI, David (Eileen) Bennett of Oxford, WI, Matthew Bennett of Brooks, WI; 9 grandchildren, Christina, Caitlin, Michelle, Michael, Shannen; Erica, Carly, Jennifer, Alex; 8 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Marge (Lynn) Kirsteatter, Faith (Gary) Davidson, Gail (Glenn) Greenwood; many other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, William O. and Lucretia Bennett.

A memorial service for David M. Bennett will be held on Saturday, March 7, at 11:00 a.m., at the Buffalo Community Bible Church, W4090 14th Road, Montello.
