Deloris D. Hein, age 93, of Ripon, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021, at Ripon Medical Center. She was born on February 3, 1928, in the township of St. Marie in Green Lake County, a daughter of Herman and Clara (Jahns) Harke.
On October 17, 1948, Deloris Harke and Russell Hein were united in marriage by Rev. Harold Warnke at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Princeton. They shared 50 years of marriage before Russell’s passing on January 15, 1999. For many years, Deloris worked as a caregiver.
Deloris was a lifetime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church of Princeton. Her faith was strong and very important to her. She loved dogs and had a fondness for German shepherds and Chihuahuas. She enjoyed crocheting and after her husband Russell passed away, she loved mowing the lawn.
Those Deloris leaves behind to cherish her memory include her 4 children, Randall Hein of Ripon, Ronda (John) Lewis of Princeton, Rogene Schmidt of Green Lake, Robin (Robert) Parafiniuk of Princeton; 12 grandchildren, Shelly, Shane, Shandy, Shannon; Nicole, Nichelle, Eric, Dustin; Jamie; Angie, Faith, Polly; 15 great grandchildren; Caleb, Steely, Cameron, Corbin, Colby, Quintin, Mitchell, Emerson, Everett, Summer, Oliver, Quinn, Sophi, Claire, Dylan; 1 great great grandchild, Riley; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Clara Harke; her husband, Russell Hein; 8 brothers and sisters; son-in-law, Kenneth; daughter-in-law, Dawn.
A funeral service for Deloris D. Hein will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m., at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 226 South Clinton St., in Princeton. Pastor John Stelter will officiate. Deloris will be laid to rest following the service in the Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake.
