Dena "Dee" Bender

Dena “Dee” Bender, age 57, of Princeton, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Whispering Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation in Ripon. She was born on December 19, 1967, in Madison, WI, a daughter of Kenneth M. and Sharon A. (Varese) Dyer.

Dee worked various jobs throughout the years. Her most recent job was cooking at the Buckhorn Bar in Princeton, which she did for several years. Dee loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She also loved her dogs.

Those Dena leaves behind to cherish her memory are her 2 sons, Kevin Dyer of Oshkosh, WI and Daniel Dyer of Friendship, WI; 2 grandchildren, Ali and Shawn; sister, Kim (Ron) Jantzen of Madison; 2 nephews, Jake and Cain Jantzen; special friend, Heidi Pressler; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth M. Dyer.

A Celebration of Life for Dena “Dee” Bender will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the Wachholz and Sons Funeral Home, 303 Harvard St., in Princeton.
