Denise Wielgosh, age 61, of Princeton, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. She was born on January 28, 1959, in Ripon, a daughter of David and Alice (Bliefnick) Wielgosh.
For 35 years, Denise worked at the Granite Falls Supper Club in Montello as a chef. She enjoyed cooking and baking, going to stock car races and to state fairs, cheering on the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers. When she was able, she also enjoyed various outdoor activities and gardening.
Those Denise leaves behind to cherish her memory include her sisters, Sandy (Rusty) Kratz of Montello, Dorena (friend, Don) Wielgosh of Ripon, Linette Wielgosh of Westfield; brother, Mike Wielgosh of Ripon; 3 nephews, Kory and Adam Kratz, Jacob Leszczynski; niece, Brigette (Todd) Cedarleaf; friend, Gary Krause of Princeton; aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Alice Wielgosh.
A Memorial Mass for Denise Wielgosh will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1211 W. Main St., in Princeton. Father Dale Grubba will officiate.
