Dennis P. Beier

Dennis Paul Beier, 74, of Princeton, passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Appleton Medical Center in Appleton, on April 11, 2023. Dennis was born on January 24, 1949, a son of Bernard and Carole (Fryday) Beier.

Dennis attended Fairwater-Brandon High School. He married the love of his life, Barbara Vermeer, on November 16, 1966. They raised their two children on the Beier family farm by Ripon. Dennis was a professional long haul truck driver with over 40 years of experience. Dennis loved life and cherished his family. He was an active member of the Princeton Lions, Fairwater Historical Society, and a lifetime member of the National Farmers Organization. Dennis and Barbara are active members of Calvary Lutheran Church in Princeton.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Barbara Beier; 2 children, Russell (Dan) Hershberger–Beier and Stephanie Borst; 5 grandchildren, Michael (Melissa) Borst, Zachary (Lydia) Beier, Avery (Kenzie) Borst; Hunter (Shania) Hershberger, Kaley (Dylan) Hershberger; 2 great grandchildren, Carson Beier, Eleanor Hershberger; 2 brothers, Roger (Jan) Beier, William (Bonnie) Beier; sister, Shirley (Dave) Zimmerman; sister-in-law, Karen Parker-Vermeer. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Carole Beier; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Betty (Zietlow) Vermeer; brother-in-law, Steven Vermeer; son-in-law, Paul Borst.

A memorial service for Dennis Beier will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 12:00 pm., with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m., at Calvary Lutheran Church, 202 S. Farmer St., in Princeton.
