Diane Nowlin

Diane Nowlin, age 66, of Princeton, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2018, at Kindred Hearts in Green Lake, WI.  She was born on September 20, 1951, in Berlin, WI, a daughter of John and Violet (Buchholz) Disterhaft.  On December 15, 1972, Diane married Richard Nowlin in Pierre, SD.   For 41 years, she worked for Ripon Foods, packing, mixing, and weighing cookies.  Diane enjoyed bingo and getting together with family on Saturday nights to play poker. 

Diane is survived by her husband, Richard Nowlin of Princeton; her 9 siblings, Joanne Disterhaft of De Pere, WI, Nancy (Lamont) Helmer of Princeton, Jeffery (Mary) Disterhaft of Princeton, Jackie Disterhaft of Princeton, Sheri (Gary) Lemcke of Princeton, Ronald Disterhaft of Princeton, Janet Disterhaft of Princeton, Randall (Julie) Disterhaft of Merrill, WI, Lynn (Blu) Rands of Maynerdville, TN; 2 sisters-in-law, Janice Nowlin of SD, Donna Nowlin of Stoughton, WI; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Violet Disterhaft; sister, Amy Disterhaft. 

A funeral service for Diane Nowlin will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m., at the Wachholz and Sons Funeral Home, 303 Harvard St. in Princeton.  Father Dale Grubba will officiate.  Please visit our website www.wachholzandsons.com to send a condolence or to share a story or memory of Diane with her family.
