Douglas R. Berg

Douglas R. Berg, age 66, of Princeton, WI, passed away on June 19, 2023, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton. He was born on July 27, 1956, a son of Arthur Chester and Beverly Louise (Colburn) Berg.

Doug was a graduate of Montello High School. For nearly 25 years, he worked for Trienda in Portage as a large machinery mechanic. On June 12, 2009, he married Judi Marie Schubert in Markesan.

Doug loved to cook. He also loved being outdoors gardening, hunting and fishing.

Those Doug leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife of 14 years, Judi Berg; 3 children, Tanya (Robert) Schwarz, Timothy Berg, Toby Berg; 3 stepchildren, Lillian (Richard) Slate, Jason (Jenny) Schubert, Teneshia Johnson; 11 grandchildren, Makenzie Lance, Johnathan Schwarz, Anthony Slate, Brittnie (Austin) Burckhardt, Nickolas Slate, Donavan Slate, Patrick Slate, Alyssa Schubert, Hunter Schubert, Skilar Johnson, Malakai Johnson; 3 great grandchildren, Azyrah, Kybah, Justin; sister, Bonnie Reed; 2 brothers, Eugene (Deb) Berg, Rodney (Alice) Berg; multiple nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Beverly Berg; brother, Owen Berg; nephew, Jordan Reed.
