Gary “Toofer” Zuehls, age 52, of Princeton, WI, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, June 30, 2023. He was born on December 15, 1970, in Ripon, WI, a son of Gerald and Lois (Siggelkow) Zuehls.
Toofer grew up in Princeton and graduated from Princeton High School in 1989. For over 30 years, he worked for Zuehls Heating and Air Conditioning as a certified technician and had eventually run the business.
Gary loved golfing, the Packers, watching all sporting events and traveling. He also loved the simple times and good friends. His infectious contagious laugh and his willingness to help out anyone in need will be something he will always be known for.
Those Gary leaves behind to cherish his memory are his fiancée, Deidra Makurat and her two children, Riley and Delaney of Princeton; his mother, Lois Zuehls of Princeton; sister, Debbie (Bob) Lang of Three Lakes, WI; brother, Glenn Zuehls of Princeton; stepson, Jeremie (Holly) Conrey of Neenah; 2 nephews, Ryan (Laura) Lang and Aaron (Jenna) Lang, both of Oconomowoc; 2 great nieces, Maeve and Lucy; great nephew, Owen; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Zuehls; paternal grandparents, Arthur and Iona Zuehls; maternal grandparents, Walter and Irene Siggelkow.
A Celebration of Life for Gary “Toofer” Zuehls will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a time for sharing beginning at 4:00 p.m., at the Wachholz and Sons Funeral Home, 303 Harvard St., in Princeton.
