George J. Kallas, age 89, of Princeton, passed away at his home on December 7, 2024. He was born in Milwaukee, WI, on December 17, 1934, a son of Christ and Adeline (Kosinski) Kallas.
George proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1957-1959. He married Grace E. Pesch. For 25 years, he worked as a packaging equipment machine assembler for Georgia Pacific in the Milwaukee area.
In his younger years he enjoyed fishing. George was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and also enjoyed going out to eat.
He is survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. George was preceded in death by his parents, Christ and Adeline Kallas; wife, Grace Kallas; brother, John Kallas.
A Memorial Mass for George J. Kallas will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1211 West Main St., in Princeton. Msgr. James Gunn will conduct the service. Following the service, burial will take place at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery.
