Gladys L. Schneeberger, age 94, of Kewaskum, formerly of Princeton, WI, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at Kettle Moraine Gardens in Kewaskum. She was born on June 11, 1927, in Brothertown, WI, a daughter of Irvin and Della (Frederick) Yoblonsky.
On April 11, 1948, Gladys married Earl Schneeberger at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Princeton. They were married 30 years at the time of Earl’s passing on May 2, 1978. Gladys had worked for the Handcraft Company in Princeton and then became a seamstress at Sand Knit in Berlin, sewing athletic apparel.
Gladys enjoyed playing cards, dominos, counted cross stitch and work puzzles. She also enjoyed attending the flea market.
Those Gladys leaves behind to cherish her memory include her daughter, Sue (Mike) Vorpagel of Slinger, WI; 2 grandchildren, Steven Vorpagel of Slinger, WI, Sara (Jeremy) Kreilkamp of Rubicon, WI; 4 great grandchildren, Laythen Vorpagel, Blake Vorpagel, Cambrey Vorpagel, Adilynn Kreilkamp; her sister, Jean Kuehneman of Napa, CA; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin and Della Yoblonsky; her husband, Earl Schneeberger; 2 sisters, Sally Gneiser and Joyce Rodgers.
A funeral service for Gladys L. Schneeberger will be held on Monday, April 25, 2022, at 1:00 p.m., with visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m., at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 226 S. Clinton St., in Princeton. Pastor John Stelter will officiate. Gladys will be laid to rest following the service in the Memory Hill Cemetery in Princeton.
