Glen A. Maus, age 80, of Princeton, WI, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022, at ThedaCare Medical Center in Berlin, WI. He was born on February 26, 1942, in Beaver Dam, WI, a son of Arnold and Eleanor (Pautsch) Maus.
On October 5, 1963, Glen married Judith Unser in Waupun, WI. He proudly served his country for 7 years in the United States Marine Corps Reserves. Before being happily retired, Glen worked in a management position within the lumber yard business. He had worked for Warnke Lumber and Stock Lumber in Princeton, Randolph Building Center in Randolph and other lumber companies throughout the area.
Glen loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed woodworking, traveling and even though he knew he wasn’t good at it, he loved playing golf.
Those Glen leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife of 58 years, Judith Maus of Princeton; his 2 children, Stacey (Kevin) Brock of Ripon, Steven Maus of Bothell, WA; 2 grandchildren, Andrew (Crystal) Wargula and Amanda (Adam) Verbanac; 6 great grandchildren, Landon, Alexis and Logan Verbanac; Brandi, Delainey and Ellie Wargula; brother, Brian Maus of Waupun. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Eleanor Maus; brother, Duane Maus, sister-in-law, June Maus.
A private memorial service for Glen A. Maus will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 226 South Clinton St., in Princeton. Pastor John Stelter will officiate. Glen will be laid to rest following the service in the Memory Hill Cemetery in Princeton. A memorial has been established to St. John’s Ladies Aid.
