Jim Hundt, age 65, of Neshkoro, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, April 22, 2021. He was born in Hartford, WI, on June 28, 1955, the son of Vilas and Verne (Radloff) Hundt.
After completing high school, Jim attended UW Oshkosh where he earned his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in education. For 34 years, Jim was an elementary school teacher and coach. He spent the last 28 years of his career with the Green Lake School District.
Jim had many hobbies that allowed him to be very active outdoors. He loved to garden, go road biking, speed skating, hiking and camping. Jim was also a life long Chicago Cubs fan.
Those Jim leaves behind to cherish his memory include the love of his life, Mary Jungwirth of Neshkoro; his father, Vilas Hundt of Hustisford; 3 daughters, Amy (Mike) Sievert of Malone, Andrea (Luke) Konrath of Waupaca, Jodi (John) Keys of Fond du Lac; 9 grandchildren, David and Aleah Sievert; Jordan, Austin, Lauren and Jaden Konrath; Jenna, Juliann and Jaxson Keys; 2 sisters, Deb (Jeff) Canniff of Schofield, Barb (Tim) Franzen of Plymouth; very, very special family members, Scott and Julie Grenon of Beaver Dam; Roy Yasick of Neshkoro; 8 nieces; 1 nephew; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Verne Hundt.
A Celebration of Life for Jim Hundt will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021, at 12:00 p.m., with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m., at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, W4104 Deerborn Ave., Wautoma. Rev. Blaine Niskanen will officiate. Due to Covid 19, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church requires that masks be worn by all who attend the services.
