Joanne Julia Resheski

Joanne Julia Resheski, age 90, of Markesan, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the Markesan Resident Home in Markesan. She was born on October 28, 1935, in Stephenson, MI, a daughter of Frank and Elizabeth (Budnar) Parkansky.

On May 4, 1957, Joanne married Dominic Resheski in Stephenson, MI. In 1972, they moved back to Dominic’s home town of Princeton and lived on the Resheski family farm. Joanne had worked as an assembler at the former Speed Queen Company in Ripon for 15 years. She was a fan of the Milwaukee Brewers and loved animals. While living on the farm she had chickens, guinea hens and peacocks. She loved feeding the geese and the hummingbirds.

Joanne is survived by her sister, Constance Rowold of Appleton; nieces and nephews; special niece, Tracy Heuring of Oshkosh; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Elizabeth Parkansky; 2 brothers, William and Bob; 3 sisters, Mary, Lillian and Magdalene.
