John W. Schroetter

John W. Schroetter, age 77, of Montello, passed away at home on Monday, March 16, 2020.  He was born on January 29, 1943, in Milwaukee, WI, a son of Louis and Rachel Edith (Heyer) Schroetter.  John worked as a machinist for the G & V Machine Shop in Pewaukee and Hartland and retired in 2007 from the Ixonia plant.  He loved fishing, gardening and repairing things. 

John is survived by his 4 sisters, Barbara (Willard) Griswold of Oconomowoc, WI, Linda (Bob) Knapp of Clyman, WI, Susie (Jim) Mehling of Montello, WI, Rosie (Pat Potter) Schroetter of North Prairie, WI; brother, Tom Schroetter; numerous nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Rachel Schroetter; his twin brother, Joe; younger brother, Scott; older brother, Louie.

In honoring John’s wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no service.
