Kathleen Gwen Hatch

Kathleen Gwen Hatch, 76, of Neshkoro, WI, passed peacefully to eternal life in her home on Saturday, September 17, 2022. Our dearly loved and beautiful mother, Gwen, was born in Cresco, Iowa, to Larry and Bea Hatch, the sixth of seven children.

After high school, where she was active in music, both instrumental and vocal, she graduated from beauty college and worked as a model and cosmetologist until she married and began raising a family of five children. Gwen went back to college to receive an additional diploma from MPTC in Fond du Lac, WI. She started her own nail salon in Wautoma, WI aptly named “Nails by Gwen” until she retired. She had many clients who loved her because she was so good to them.

Gwen loved her Lord and Savior, her family, her home, her many gardens, music, the outdoors, antiques, her good friends, cooking holiday meals for her children and their families over the years, and her fur baby, Lilly. She especially loved a good laugh. Gwen was and will forever be loved and missed by many.

Those Gwen leaves behind to cherish her memory include her 5 children, Stephanie (John) Falligant, Patty (Robert) Marks, Anne (Paul) Martin, Thomas (Heather) Sirowy, Kristine (Kevin) Kuhl; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mary Jo (Jack) Morgan, Julia (Paul) Metcalf; her brother, John (LaVerne) Hatch; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Larry and Bea Hatch; her sister, Laurel Folsom; 2 brothers, Robert and David Hatch; her first husband, Ronald A. Sirowy; and her second husband, William A. Gaylord.

A graveside memorial celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., at Zion United Methodist Cemetery, in Neshkoro, WI, where her parents were buried. Pastor John Bumgardner, her pastor from Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, will be officiating at her service. She loved the church so much.
