Larry A. Hanson

Larry A. Hanson, age 72, of Princeton, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021 at his home. He was born on August 1, 1949 in Milwaukee, the son of Elmer and Jean (Sweningson) Hanson. 

Larry grew up in Milwaukee where he attended Boys’ Tech High School.  After graduation he worked as an electrician and member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers until his retirement in September, 2011.  Larry enjoyed the outdoors, spending time with family, attending antique shows, and was a gifted story teller.

Larry is survived by his children, Wesley (Susan) Hanson of Brookfield, WI, Jenna Hanson of West Bend, WI; his grandchildren, Joe Schupp, Tyler, Jake, and Hailey Hanson; his sister, Sandra (Hanson) Blankschien; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Jean Hanson.

A Celebration of Larry’s life will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021, at 5:30 p.m., with a visitation beginning at 4:30 p.m., at the Wachholz and Sons Funeral Home, 303 Harvard St., in Princeton.
