Leslie “Les” Mosolf, age 84, of Princeton, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Juliette Manor in Berlin. He was born on March 17, 1939, in Berlin, a son of Leslie Charles and Irene Lucille (Frost) Mosolf.
Les lived his whole life in Princeton and graduated from Princeton High School in 1957. He proudly served his country in the United States Army for 2 years. Les owned and operated Mosolf TV Repair in Princeton for many years. He loved hunting, bowling, setting jigsaw puzzles, coloring, and watching auto racing, especially Jeff Gordon. Les collected John Wayne memorabilia, tractors, farm sets, hot wheels and nativities. He was a member of the Princeton Lion’s Club.
Those left behind to cherish his memory include his sister, Karen Sauerbrei of Princeton; 3 brothers, Wilfred (Mary) Mosolf of Ripon, Robert Mosolf of Princeton, Dennis (Carol) Mosolf of Indiana; 4 nieces, Debra (Adam) Quade, Sara Thorsen, Elaine (Evan) Klingbiel, Rebekah (Mike) Joost; 2 nephews, Doug (Lesa) Sauerbrei, Josh Mosolf; great nieces and nephews, Haven, Elwynn, Aiden, Collin, Corrine; many other relatives and friends; also his best friend, Rocky, a silly and goofy cat who saved his life many times. Les was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Irene Mosolf; brother Ronald Mosolf; brother-in-law, Ervin Sauerbrei; and 2 nephews.
A Memorial Mass for Leslie “Les” Mosolf will take place on Monday, January 15, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation starting at 9:00 a.m., at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, 1211 West Main St., in Princeton. Father Bosco Pudhota will preside over the Mass. Burial, with full military honors, will follow the Mass in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Princeton.
