Our Savior Jesus Christ has destroyed death and brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel. Let us remember with thanksgiving what God has done through His servant Lori.
Lori Jean Kaisler, 58, of Princeton, WI, fell asleep in Jesus on January 23, 2022, at Ripon Community Hospital. She was given life by her creator and was born in Milwaukee, WI on February 22, 1963, the daughter of Roger and Genevieve (Niklasch) Racer. She was reborn as a child of God in the waters of Holy Baptism on March 10, 1963. On March 27, 1983, she publicly confessed her faith and was confirmed at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Menomonee Falls, WI and received the precious gift of the Lord’s life-giving body and blood. On October 15, 1983, she received the gift of a beloved companion in her husband, David. Lori lived a life of service to others, always quick to offer help or a word of encouragement to family and friends. She found true joy in the presence of her many grandchildren, attending to them with unmatched warmth and devotion. She was an active member of Calvary Lutheran Church, for many years assisting with Vacation Bible School. God blessed Lori with a holy death and took her home to rest in the arms of Jesus to await the resurrection of the dead.
She is survived by her husband, David Kaisler; her children: Amanda (Rev. Joseph) Barlau of Abilene, KS, Timothy (Melissa Kehler) Kaisler of Waukesha, WI, and Rachel (Ryan Neumann) Kaisler of Princeton, WI; ten grandchildren: Maple, North, Lark, and Acre Kaisler, Miriam, Naomi, Anna, and Martha Barlau, Maverick and Charlotte Neumann; three siblings: Michael (Kris) Racer, Phyllis (Sieg) Goertz, and Lyn (Joel) Gundrum; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.
