Mabel Schweder

Mabel Schweder, age 93, of Markesan, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018, at the Barrett House in Markesan.  Mabel was born on April 27, 1925, in Randolph, WI, a daughter of Robert and Minnie (Braatz) Westover.  On August 17, 1946, she married Glenn Schweder.  Mabel worked for Hanson Drug in Markesan for over 20 years and also worked at Del Monte Foods in Markesan. In her younger years, Mabel enjoyed snowmobiling with Glenn, and she was an avid reader.  

Mabel is survived by her son, Robert (Maureen) Schweder of Princeton; other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Minnie Westover; husband, Glenn Schweder; 3 sisters and 5 brothers.

A memorial service for Mabel Schweder will be held on Friday, December 7, 2018, at 11:30 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m., at the United Methodist Church, 74 E. Caroline St., in Markesan.  Rev.
