Mae Paradis Kohls

Mae Paradis Kohls, age 77, of Ripon, formerly of Princeton, passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at Copperleaf Village in Ripon.  She was born on October 30, 1940, in Plummer, MN, a daughter of William and Anna (Stahl) Paradis.  On June 2, 1962, Mae married Jerry Kohls in Milwaukee.  Mae and Jerry owned and operated the M&M Restaurant in Princeton for 11 years.  She had loved taking walks and bike rides with her husband and fishing with her sons on the pier.  Mae especially enjoyed being with her grandchildren.   

Mae is survived by her husband, Jerry Kohls of Princeton; 3 sons, Michael (Leann) Kohls of Berlin, Steve (Leigh) Kohls of Oshkosh, David Kohls of Berlin; 2 grandchildren, Anna Kohls, Issac Kohls; 2 sisters, Emma Fiebiger of Valley City, ND, Lily Dubuque of East Grand Forks MN; 2 brothers, Steve (Vicki) Paradis of Fargo, ND, Vern Paradis of Princeton, WI; many other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Anna Paradis; brother, Joe Paradis; 4 sisters, Marie, Margaret, Alice and Ruth.

A funeral service for Mae Paradis Kohls will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m., at the Wachholz and Sons Funeral Home, 303 Harvard St., in Princeton.  Father William Whalen will conduct the service.  Following the funeral service, Mae will be laid to rest in St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Princeton.  Please visit our website www.wachholzandsons.com to send a condolence or to share a memory of Mae with her family.
