Marilyn “Weegee” Zelinski, age 72, of Princeton, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Martha’s Inc., in Princeton. She was born on July 20, 1950, a daughter of George and Monica (Seymour) Gianakos.
Marilyn loved to fish, go to auctions and garage sales, she enjoyed bonfires and liked her beer. She was a loving mother who took excellent care of her children and was a great sister sister. Spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren was something she treasured.
Those left to cherish her memory are her 6 children, Patty (Kevin) Schaefer of Florida, Teresa (Dan) Cole of Pleasant Prairie, WI, Joel (Chrissy) Kuruc of Princeton, WI, Tom Kuruc, Pauline Wickersham, and Monica Kuruc all of Kenosha, WI; 25 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Rosie (David) Mitchel, Christine (Bob) Isham, Mary Painter; brother, Ted (Gertie) Gianakos; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her Parents, George and Monica Gianakos; husband, Michael Zelinski; son, Robert Kuruc; grandson, Dillon Becker; sister, Dolly Sepanski; 2 brothers, Thomas and George Gianakos.
