Mark "Catfish" Ladwig, age 60, of Princeton, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 21, 2018. He was born on January 13, 1958, in Ripon, WI, a son of Paul and Dolores (Lese) Ladwig. Mark worked at Alliance Laundry Systems in Ripon for the past 23 years. He loved being outdoors. He liked to spend his time hunting, fishing, sturgeon spearing, picking mushrooms, and driving around the countryside.
Mark is survived by his children, Luke (Jen Kersting and daughter, Haily) Ladwig, Kelly Ladwig, Jake (Emily) Ladwig, all of Princeton; 2 grandchildren, Logan and Elaina Ladwig; 3 sisters, Ellen Johnson of Menomonee Falls, Julie (Mike) Berwick of Princeton, Mary Jo (Rich) Mlodzik of Princeton; brother, Matthew (Duci) Ladwig of Mesa, AZ; mother of his children, Betsy Ladwig of Princeton; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Dolores Ladwig; brother, Paul Jess Ladwig.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1211 W. Main St., in Princeton. Father William Whalen will officiate. Following the Mass, Mark will be laid to rest in St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Princeton.
